Our first version of book/shop that we created at Domaine de Boisbuchet last September during the 'Rethink the Modular' workshop is currently exhibited at Wanted Design.
May 9 - 19 at Industry City in Brooklyn, NYC.
For their 50th Anniversary the Swiss furniture company USM launched an international initiative called project50, that challenges to re think the modular. I was privileged to be one of Parsons ex-students invited to the workshop starting this project, that aims to bring together future creative talents from all over the world.
There couldn’t have been a more perfect place for this workshop than the magical Domaine de Boisbuchet. An incredible place that, since it has been acquired by Alexander von Vegesack around 20 years ago, has become an international design destination and an oasis where architecture, art and design meet nature.
Here some impressions of this unforgettable week.
I am honored to be featured along with Stella Lee Prowse in this months Metropolis.
We will be showing our Nomads during Paris Design Week at Now! le OFF at Les Docks, Cité de la Mode et du Design, September 6-13.
Our project is featured on the Parsons Thesis Website along with some other great work from the graduating class. Check them out here: http://www.newschool.edu/parsons/thesis.aspx?id=101523
